Week of March 4-8

Monday - Discuss chapter 4 (only period 7 meets today).

Homework - 1.) For Wednesday, read chapter 5 of The Great Gatsby, complete the journal entry, and be ready for a quiz.  2.) By Monday, find and read (or "read") an artistic source for your junior theme and answer this question on a sheet of paper, typed and double-spaced: "What connections do you see between this artistic artifact and your junior theme topic?  How does this artifact help you think about your topic on a deeper level?"  Your response should one well-developed paragraph in length.  3.) Work on your firsthand research.  Everyone is on a different timeline for this, but do your best to make significant progress by Monday.  Do not procrastinate!

Tuesday - Return stage 2 of the junior theme.
